Interpreting in the Church Workshop

Connie Miller and Kathy Baynes will be presenting a workshop for church
interpreters who want to improve their skills while interpreting in a
religious situations.

The date is Saturday, March 6, 2010 at Family Cathedral of Praise in
Mesquite, Texas from 9 am to 2 pm.

We will be discussing how to
use classifiers in church interpreting
church phases
how to sign slow and fast songs
How to go to the next level … from an interpreting service to a deaf
ministry.

The cost of the workshop is $20.00 for pre-registration, and $25.00 at the
door.
(this is a fund raiser that will enable us to take our deaf choir to
minister in at a deaf camp) .

As of now , there will not be any CEU’s for this workshop but expect another
workshop on the second Saturday in April.
