Obituary: James T. Sharer
On Monday 12-10-07 at 12:55 James T. Sharer Finally was reunited with his brothers and mother. 43,. He was born September 24, 1964 in Dallas to the late Polly Jean Pringle Sharer and Jack B. Sharer. He was a lifelong Dallas resident. Jim attended the National Institute for the Deaf in Rochester, NY. He worked for the Sorenson Company as a
regional manager.
Jim was preceded in death by his mother, Polly Sharer; and by his three brothers, Tommy, Jack Jr., and Robert Sharer. His is survived by his father, Jack B. Sharer of Dallas; uncle, David Sharer of Texarkana; nephew, Eryk Sharer and wife, Michelle; and two great-nephews.
Burial will be at 1:30 P.M. on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, in Restland Memorial Park, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:30 P.M. at John Calvin Presbyterian Church, 4151 Royal Lane, Dallas.

This is a huge shock for me and all of us from NWRAD. James was wonderful guy, very supportive guy and he always help or get involved. He was so great and funny guy and we will sure missed him. James was the first person who designed our Deaf Gays and Lesbians of the West website and been active with Deaf GLOW for several years. We will always remember him as our hugging hairy bear brother!
It’s taken me a while to get used to the idea that he’s truly gone. But the fact that it’s taken this long means that he must’ve been a truly wonderful friend, and I would suspect that many would feel the same about him.
I will never forget him for as long as I live.
