Update: HB 978 Passes Senate and Sent to Governor’s Office!

Texas Rocks!

House Bill (HB) 978, the Texans with Disabilities Act, unanimously
passed the Texas Senate, Wednesday, May 27, 2009, and was sent to the
Governor’s Office today, Friday, May 29, 2009. Many thanks to you
for your support in contacting your Texas State Representatives and
Senators. And, many thanks to our Texas Legislators for their support
of Texans with Disabilities and House Bill 978. Be sure to thank your
representatives. As soon as we know the status of HB 978, we will send
