Rhythm and Dance Workshop – DFW

ARE is pleased to be offering a free rhythm and dance workshop on Monday July 20th from 6-7:30pm to 10 members of Central Texas’ deaf and hearing-impaired community. Participants will explore their natural rhythm beginning with their heartbeats, spatial awareness, working in teams and physical boundaries. They will feel music through their hands and bodies and learn movements from the upcoming performances.

All who attend will be offered a free ticket to the show July 24 8pm for which we are providing an interpreter for the post-performance talk-back. We are currently looking for interpreters for our other shows, but have not yet been able to secure them. Those who are interested in attending should contact Grace M Holmes at grace@americanrepensemble.org. Please help us to spread the word.
